I have a number of hobbies of which I will discuss my favorite here.

If someone were to ask me what my number one hobby is I would have to say - Computers and Programming. I am fortunate in that my career revolves around this hobby. When I began college in 1982 at Highline Community College I was planning to major in Mechanical Engineering. I did not find that engineering was to my liking. I began to play around on a Compucolor machine that was installed in the school library. I taught myself Basic on that machine. I then acquired a Commodore 64, followed by a Commodore 128 and an Amiga. I eventually acquired an old IBM 8088, and on and on until now I have a Dell XPS 3.2ghz machine with 1gb of ram.

Along the way I taught myself COBOL, took some business courses, and then went to the Boeing Technical School's 10 Month Programmer Training Course. Seventeen and a half years later, here I am, working as a business programmer and completing my Computer Science Degree.
